There were 15 members present.

The meeting started at 7:03pm.

The September meeting minutes and financial report were read and approved.

Chuck Morrow and David Ahlf were introduced and voted in as members. The club welcomes both gentlemen to our ranks.

C.C. shared the remarks that were made to him by Walter Lacy regarding the positive impact that club members had on his son Walt and how appreciative he and his wife were that the club was a big influence on Walt’s life and his future career in aviation.

A motion was made and seconded and passed to exempt turbine driven aircraft from the no taxi back policy that was passed at the Sep meeting. C.C. said he would send an e-mail to all members clarifying the issue.

At the November meeting nominations will be requested for club: Pres, VP, Sec, and Treas, and for two board members to replace those rotating off. (Hill and Coleman have served two years). C.C. advised we need to split up the Sec/Treas duties.

C.C. reported the Wings Across America (WASP) display had been set up at Baylor’s Mayborn Museum and that signage reflected HOTMAC’S participation in the initiative.
