Doug was introduced to club. 

He spoke briefly about his role as AVP and the AMA.  He stated that he is committed to being fair and remain unbiased in his role as AVP.  He asked that all club members use common sense in dealing with safety and personal issues,  and promote a pos. public image at the field at all times.  Be mindful of and courteous to visitors  at the field.  He raffled a gallon of fuel, which was won by Larry Garret.

As president of the Temple club, he expressed thanks to HOTMAC for the use of the flying field this past summer. As a way of saying thanks, he presented the club with a new wind sock from the Temple club.

Treasury report read and approved.  J. Smith approved with A. Hardage 2^nd.

L. Garrett ask for TSTC air show participants to bring out models for static display and possibly to fly. Air show format discussed.

Upcoming club events discussed:  1.  Dec. 8^th Christmas Party  Casa de Castillo at 6 PM  $10 gift  for whomever attends for gift exchange.  2.  Dec. 9^th Fun Fly at 1:30  Bring tot for Toys for Tots and $5 entry fee for Poker Fly.

Nov. 17^th fun fly at Bryan  Bring unwrapped toy and $10 entry fee.  9 Am ‘til 3:30.

Thanks were given to Chuck Morrow for mowing the grass and to Ernie for mowing the control line area.

There will be a War Bird event next July.  Brad Record to CD but ask for a volunteer to take over the event from him.

Prior to the meeting, Al Shanks had asked about and offered some ideas about increasing mtg. attendance.  Several club members, as well as Doug Staines, offered suggestions.
