HOTMAC Meeting Minutes Mar. 5, 2007

There were 10 members present.

The meeting started at 7pm

The Feb. Treasurer’s report, Meeting minutes and Mar. Board meeting minutes were read and approved.

Larry Garrett was not able to attend and Brad Record was in the hospital. C.C. Adams presided over the meeting.

C.C. reported the Concession stand had been inspected by the city with no demerits and that the IMAA 2007 charter and insurance fees have been paid.

He also advised that Cathy Gately from the Corps had been transferred to Ft. Worth until May and that her replacement was not going to approve the removal of the fence or the acquisition of the property at the front gate until her return.

The Board suggested that we have the Coke machine at the field removed as it did not seem to work consistently and was not profitable. Those in attendance agreed with the Board suggestion. Drinks will be available in the refrigerator in the Concession stand on the honor system. A volunteer to keep the refrigerator stocked is being sought. Anybody interested please contact Larry Garrett.

The April Kite Fest is on track. There will be a field clean up day Sat April 7^th.

Ernie Rabe has volunteered to DJ the IMAA Rally and a 30’x50’ tent has been leased for the event. Gary Stephens from IMAA will have visiting the field this month to firm up the physical layout of the IMAA Rally.

The Board approved the purchase of Bermuda seed, hoses, sprinkler heads and a timer to support re-seeding of the new infield area. 120’ of rubber edging was purchased to install on the west side of the new shelter to keep the dirt from washing on to the concrete.

100 vendor letters have been sent out requesting door prize items for the Rally.

Bill Koch was re-instated as a member by a unanimous vote.

The meeting adjourned at 7:35pm.
