Minute of December Meeting read and approved. Al and Don motion and second

Financial report read and approved. Jim Smith and Ernie motion and second

Larry gave club report on CC’s wife and Ed Coleman.

Motion made by Jim Smith to send floral arrangement to CC’s wife. Second by Ernie and approved by club.

Larry gave a report on the Christmas Party.

Larry made a request to the club for a volunteer to take over the website. Brent and Al both expressed an interest.

Larry reminded everyone about the Georgetown swap meet on Jan. 18 and 19.

Phil had volunteered to be the club secretary. Motion made by Brent to accept him to the position. Second by Al and approved by club.

Chuck Waller has expressed a desire to host a pylon race at our field near the end of next year. October 25 and 26 or November 15 and 16 are potential dates. Motion made by Ernie to have races and second by Tommy. Approved

The hot air balloon reps have expressed an interest in using the field to launch the balloons. Billie Azbell has expressed an interest in having a chili cookoff at the field. A motion was made by Al to pursue the possibilities and advantages of hosting the events. Brent seconded the motion and approved by club.

Larry made a request for volunteers to help with new pilot training. No response from club members.
