HOTMAC Meeting Minutes 4/2/07

The meeting started @7:10pm

13 members were present.

The Mar. Treasurers report and Meeting minutes were read and approved. The board did not meet in March.

Larry reported that Jim Smith, Bones Manning and Sid Sayetta were all having medical problems and encouraged members to check on them.

Gary Stephens representing IMAA and Larry met at the field and agreed on the physical layout of the Rally of Giants. Larry has identified a vendor for shirts and caps for the event.

The Sertoma club has completed their plans for the kite fest on Apr 14^th. They are still requesting RC demos: warbirds, combat and jets. Bob Covish has agreed to do the jet demo. Larry encouraged all members with a combat plane to get them ready. Ernie Rabe has set up a first class sound system for all future events and has checked out several members on its’ use. C.C. will pick it up and have it available for the kite fest as Ernie will be out of town.

It was announced the Austin Warbird will be April 27^th and 28^th.

Everyone was encouraged to get out to the field Sat the 7^th and help clean it up for the kite fest.

The following were re-instated as club members by a unanimous vote: Bryan Nelson, Grace Medrano, James Waltrip, Phil Huffstatler, Louis Hemmelgard and Mark Anderson.

The meeting adjourned at 7:45pm.
