The meeting started at 7:03pm.

17 members were present.

The July treasurers report, meeting minutes and Aug. board meeting minutes were read and approved.

Larry thanked all who supported the Warbird fly-in.

He also reported the Concession stand was inspected by the City on July 31st with no demerits. This was a semi annual inspection.

A motion was made and passed no to have a swap meet.

Larry reminded all to always think Safety at the field. It was agreed that a sign should be posted at the frequency board reminding everyone it was club safety policy to only have 4 flyers at a time.

Members should plan for a work day at the field Sat Sep 1^st to prepare for the Jet Rally which starts Thurs Sep 7^th. A reminder e-mail will be sent on this issue. Larry reminded all that mowing is every club member’s responsibility and that the alternative to members not participating and having pride in the condition of the field is to pay someone to keep it mowed. Everybody has access to the mowers and trimmers and is encouraged to help out to keep our expenses down by helping out.

HOTMAC has gotten some good press in the Temple Club’s newsletter regarding HOTMAC member’s exercising good hospitality while the Temple field is out of commission due to high water. Larry reminded everyone it is HOTMAC policy to always welcome out of town enthusiasts as long as they are covered by AMA insurance.

A motion was made and passed to change out all current member’s keys with the changeover date being Sep 1^st. Keys will be personally delivered to as many as possible and the remainder will be mailed prior to the changeover date.

A motion was made and passed to grant Don Easterwood a 3yr membership in return for providing the new keys.

A motion was made and passed to table the plans for a deck on the east side of the Concession stand.
